Strengthening security awareness: Inviting faculty to lead the way
Published: May 28, 2024
The Security Awareness and Training (SAT) Foundations project provides essential cyber security training that has made strides to strengthen security awareness at U of T. The project is now expanding its impact even further by onboarding faculty.
More than 9,000 staff and librarians have been onboarded onto the SAT training platform since June 2023. The training aims to create a security-aware culture across U of T by equipping staff, librarians and faculty with the knowledge to protect themselves and the University against security threats.
Call for faculty participation
Units are invited to enrol faculty, and faculty members can also enrol themselves.
To enrol, complete the sign-up form.
The first 20 faculty members to complete the training will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a prize. Starting in September, there will also be a monthly prize draw for all onboarded users who report the phishing simulations.
