Remote Desktop Gateway

For many users, Remote Desktop (RDP) has become an essential part of their regular work practice. RDP poses a serious security challenge; to mitigate its vulnerabilities, we offer a Remote Desktop Gateway service to protect remote connections.

Getting started

You must be connected to AdminVPN before authenticating to the Remote Desktop Gateway. Additionally, your workstation must be licensed for Remote Connection (Pro, Enterprise or Server edition licenses) and enabled to allow Remote Desktop. If you have questions about this, please contact your local IT help desk.

To securely access RDP on your workstation, you or your IT administrator needs to configure system and network firewalls to allow remote desktop access between your workstation and the Remote Desktop Gateway infrastructure. If you are a firewall administrator, please contact Information Security for network details.
