Travelling internationally? Protect your passwords by using 1Password’s Travel Mode feature.

1Password is a cloud-based, cross-platform password manager that allows users to organize and store passwords securely in one place. With Travel Mode, you can temporarily remove selected password vaults from your devices while travelling, reducing the risk of sensitive information being accessed at border crossings or in other high-risk situations.

When you disable Travel Mode, your vaults are automatically restored from your 1Password account.

The University of Toronto recommends minimizing sensitive information on your devices while travelling. Travel Mode provides a simple and secure way to do so.

For more information about using 1Password Travel Mode, see the Enterprise Service Centre Knowledge Base article.
