Information Security programs are designed to achieve specific strategic goals and objectives by delivering a suite of related projects, services and resources. These programs will evolve over time based on community feedback, threat landscape, business requirements and digital transformation initiatives at the University.

Security Awareness and Training Program (SATP)

The goal of this program is to build a culture of security at the University, equipping staff, faculty, librarians and students with knowledge needed to protect themselves and the University against security threats.

Endpoint Protection Program (EPP)

This program focuses on securing endpoints (i.e., workstations, laptops, mobile devices, servers) and associated data against advanced security threats.

Information Risk Management Program (IRMP)

This program drives efforts to help the University community identify, assess and manage security risks to their data, systems and network.

Research Information Security Program (RISP)

This program acts as a bridge between research needs and cyber security requirements. By providing assistance and services directly to researchers, RISP aims to reduce the research administrative burden while improving overall competitiveness.

Identity and Access Management Program (IAMP)

This program consists of projects and services related to management of identity and access at the University.

Vulnerability Management Program (VMP)

This program focuses on effectively managing vulnerabilities within the environment through sustained processes, advanced technologies and secure practices.

Cyber Security as a Service Program (CSaSP)

This program provides cyber security support to divisions needing assistance with driving their security priorities. This support may include embedding dedicated security resources directly within the divisions.
