Enhance your privacy skills with new training modules

Published: January 28, 2025

In celebration of Data Privacy Day on Jan. 28, University of Toronto is excited to introduce Privacy @ U of T – Part 1 and Part 2 on the Security Awareness and Training (SAT) platform. These new modules were the results of a close collaboration between Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FIPP) Office, OISE and the Information Security team. They are now available to all staff and faculty as part of our ongoing commitment to privacy and security awareness.

Already participating in the SAT program?

If you completed the main SAT program onboarding (all core modules and three phishing simulations) by Dec. 1, 2024, you have automatically been granted access to the quarterly training refresher, Privacy @ U of T – Part 1 and Part 2.

Contact your unit’s SAT program administrator to get started. They’ll guide you through the onboarding process and help you join the program. If you’re unsure who your SAT program administrator is, email security.training@utoronto.ca.

Together, let’s strengthen our culture of privacy and security!
